Active@ Boot Disk is a bootable CD that gives you a lightweight Windows VISTA (WinPE 2.0) environment with disk image, data recovery, password resetting, data erasure and network access tools that allows you to boot up your computer and fix most startup and PC configuration problems. The WinPE 2.0 Operating System runs entirely from Random Access Memory (RAM), enabling you to insert a second CD that contains drivers or software or can be used for CD/DVD burning.
Backup Tools
By using the Disk Imaging tool of Active Boot Disk you can create two different types of disk images:

Backup Disk Image
A Backup Disk Image contains the exact copy of a computer hard disks, including all user's data, operating systems, and programs. A Backup Disk Image contains used disk space only and may be compressed, password protected, and split into chunks.
Raw Disk Image

Active@ File Recovery - Recover lost or deleted files. You can recover data from a hard drive that has been formatted or from a hard drive with lost partitions. You can also recover files that have been damaged, destroyed by a virus or if the file directory has been destroyed. This utility will even recover files after they have been emptied from the Recycle Bin. The utility scans computer hard drives in minutes and displays all files which can be recovered.

Active@ Password Changer - Use a simple interface to recover from forgotten or damaged user passwords. This utility supports multiple hard disk drives. If multiple operating systems were installed on one volume, this utility detects several SAM (Security Account Manager) databases and lets you pick the right SAM before starting the password recovery process. To reset account attributes, Active@ Password Changer displays a list of all local users. You choose each local user from the list to reset the password.

Active@ HEX Editor - Edit a diskÃÃ� â€™Ãƒâ€šÃ‚¢ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â‚¬Å¡Ã‚¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢s raw sector data to analyze and repair the MBR and other important files.

Wiping the logical drive's deleted data does not delete existing files and folders. It processes all unoccupied drive space so that data recovery of previously deleted files becomes impossible. Installed applications and existing data are not touched by this process.
