Terms and Conditions
The Offer entitles New Tata Sky subscribers to purchase Tata Sky+ Hardware at a special concessional price of Rs 5,999 (including standard installation charges of Rs 1,000). Existing Tata Sky subscribers, shall be entitled to purchase Tata Sky+ Hardware at a special concessional price of Rs 4,999 and Standard Installation will be free for existing subscribers provided they meet criteria 1 and 2 below.
Existing Tata Sky subscribers shall have three options:
Return one of their existing Tata Sky (regular) digicomp along with power cord, AV cord and remote to the Tata Sky engineer at the time of installation. Enjoy free installation when You install the first Tata Sky+ digicomp.
Convert their existing Tata Sky connection(s) into a multiroom connection(s). However, in such cases, the multiroom fee of Rs 500 will apply. Enjoy free installation when You install the first Tata Sky+ digicomp as a primary connection.
Only install the new Tata Sky+ digicomp as a primary connection in which case installation charge at Rs 1,000 shall be charged in addition to the price of the Tata Sky+ Hardware of Rs 4,999
Definitions
Offer Period: 15 September 2009 – 31 October 2009 (both days inclusive)
Tata Sky+ Hardware: Tata Sky+ digicomp, remote control and AV cord.
Tata Sky+ Usage Fee – a monthly fee chargeable on a per day basis for offering You the PVR functionality on Your Tata Sky+. (Lifetime waiver of charges during offer period)
You:refers to both Existing and New Tata Sky subscribers.
Additional Terms – Existing Subscriber
An Existing subscriber must be in active state at the time of availing the Offer.
The balance available in the Existing subscribers Tata Sky Subscriber Account cannot be adjusted against the cost of the Tata Sky+ digicomp.
Existing subscriber will need to purchase the Tata Sky+ digicomp from the Tata Sky helpline or the dealer by paying Rs 4,999. Installation charges, if applicable will have to be paid via a separate recharge transaction by the Existing subscriber
Existing subscribers shall sign the Tata Sky Subscription contract again at the time of installation.
General Terms & Conditions
You can avail of this Offer only on the Tata Sky helpline and at select Tata Sky+ dealer outlets. This offer is not available on purchases made over the Tata Sky website.
The exchange offer is not available against Tata Sky+ digicomps.
A 12 month warranty will apply on the Tata Sky+ digicomp from the date of activation of Tata Sky+ service. Warranty on Your existing Tata Sky digicomp shall continue as per the original warranty period
The Tata Sky+ Usage Fee is Nil for all Tata Sky+ subscribers buying Tata Sky+ between 15th September 2009 and 31st October 2009.
Tata Sky+ will be installed as a primary connection and not as a multiroom connection except in case of a purchase of a second Tata Sky+ digicomp by You
In case of a purchase of a second Tata Sky+ digicomp during the Offer period, the same will be installed as a multiroom connection and You will need to pay Rs. 500 towards the cost of installation i.e the price of a second Tata Sky+ (including standard installation) shall be Rs 5,499/-
In case a Non Standard Installation or Premium Installation is required in Your case, additional installation charges as applicable shall be levied
Tata Sky reserves the right at anytime, without prior notice, to add or vary all or any of these terms and conditions or to replace, wholly or in part this offer or to withdraw it completely.
By availing of the Offer, You hereby agree to comply with these terms and conditions and waive any right to claim ambiguity in these terms and conditions.
You agree to release, indemnify and hold harmless Tata Sky and its respective affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, and all of its respective agents, representatives, officers, directors, shareholders and employees from and against any injuries, losses, damages, claims, actions, or any liability of any kind resulting from or arising from your or any third party's use (or misuse) of the Offer.
You will need to separately recharge your Tata Sky Subscriber Account for subscription to a Tata Sky Base Package.
The Offer is valid up to 31st October 2009 or till stocks last.
You acknowledge and agree that all disputes in relation to this Offer shall be exclusively subject to Delhi jurisdiction.
These terms and conditions are in addition to the Terms & Conditions of the Tata Sky Subscription Contract and if there are any inconsistencies between the two, these terms and conditions shall govern for the limited purpose as specified herein. These terms and conditions shall not constitute a modification or waiver of any other provision of the Tata Sky Subscription Contract. Terms used herein but not defined shall have the same meaning as assigned to them in the Tata Sky Subscription Contract.
